Mina — Main DPS Universel Rôle : Main DPS / AoE DPS

Mina is a kumiho descended from the Divine Maidens that worship the God of Fate. Both she and her faith are held in immense regard in the beastkin societies of the Far East. While she is still young and inexperienced for her lofty position, the natural charm of a kumiho tends to draw people closer to her—regardless of their will.

Mina is currently one of the best DPS characters in the game and arguably the most versatile unit in the early game. While many characters excel only in specific game modes, Mina stands out because she performs exceptionally well across all content, including Story/Open World, Conquest, and Dimensional Rift.
This level of flexibility makes her one of the safest and most valuable investments early on. Her strength comes primarily from her Essence-based kit, which allows her to maintain constant damage output while also improving her mobility and overall clear speed. Unlike many characters who rely on burst windows or long cooldown rotations, Mina delivers consistent pressure, making her extremely reliable in every situation.

Mina’s gameplay revolves around Essence, a resource that allows her to deal continuous AoE damage while automatically dashing toward enemies. This mechanic significantly improves her efficiency. While other characters need to manually reposition between enemy groups, Mina automatically moves from one target to another, reducing downtime and increasing her overall damage output. This mobility becomes especially important in time-based modes like Dimensional Rift, where saving even a few seconds per encounter can dramatically improve performance. Additionally, this automatic dash helps her maintain constant pressure against bosses, minimizing downtime and maximizing damage uptime.

One of Mina’s greatest strengths is her consistent DPS. Unlike characters such as Esther or Flare, who rely more on burst damage or specific rotations, Mina deals steady, uninterrupted damage. This makes her effective in both AoE and single-target situations. In open world content, she can quickly clear enemy groups without needing complex setups. In Conquest, her constant damage keeps bosses under pressure, compensating for her slightly lower Neutralization damage. In Dimensional Rift, her consistency combined with her mobility makes her one of the fastest and most efficient characters for speed clearing.

Another major advantage Mina has is her strong AoE capability. Her attacks easily hit multiple enemies, allowing her to quickly clear groups and maintain strong performance in farming and multi-target scenarios. This AoE consistency makes her particularly valuable in Dimensional Rift, where fast room clearing is essential, but it is also extremely useful in open world exploration, where she can eliminate enemies quickly without relying on cooldown-heavy abilities. This also makes her very accessible, as she does not require advanced mechanics or complex rotations to perform well.

Mina also benefits from low Awakening dependency. While some characters require A1 or A2 to become truly effective, Mina performs extremely well even at A0. Her Awakenings certainly improve her performance, but they are not required for her to be strong. This makes her an excellent early investment and a great choice for new players. Her effectiveness without heavy investment also gives her strong long-term value, as she remains competitive even with minimal resources.

Of course, Mina does have a few weaknesses. Her main limitation is her Neutralization damage, which is slightly lower compared to specialized characters like Flare. This means she is not the fastest character when it comes to breaking boss vulnerability bars. However, this drawback is largely offset by her consistent DPS and short cooldowns, allowing her to maintain continuous pressure and compensate through sustained damage. Another minor weakness is the need to manage Essence efficiently, but this mechanic is relatively simple to understand and does not significantly impact her accessibility.

Overall, Mina performs exceptionally well across all game modes. In open world content, she provides excellent clear speed thanks to her mobility and AoE damage. In Conquest, she maintains steady boss pressure, making her a reliable main DPS. In Dimensional Rift, she becomes one of the strongest characters due to her ability to quickly dash between enemies and clear rooms efficiently. This level of versatility makes her one of the safest and most reliable characters to invest in during the early game.

In terms of investment priority, Mina ranks extremely high. She performs well in all content, requires minimal investment to be effective, and maintains strong long-term value. She is also very easy to play, making her accessible to beginners while still remaining powerful in more advanced gameplay scenarios.

In summary, Mina is an exceptionally well-rounded character. She offers high consistent DPS, strong AoE, excellent mobility, and outstanding versatility. She is easy to use, powerful at A0, and valuable in all game modes. Because of all these strengths, Mina stands out as one of the best overall DPS characters in the game and one of the safest investments for early game progression.
